Make Informed Tree Decisions with Confidence
Tree Inspection :
This walk-and-talk style inspection is ideal for homeowners or property managers seeking a professional opinion on their trees. An ISA Certified Arborist will visit your property, assess visible health or risk concerns, answer questions, and offer practical guidance on care, pruning, or removal needs. This is great for those seeking peace of mind.
Certified Arborist Letters:
These letters are formal documents prepared and signed by an ISA Certified Arborist, often required by local jurisdictions, insurance companies, or HOAs. They verify a tree’s health, structural condition, or potential risk and can support permit applications, removal requests, or construction approvals. Each letter is based on an on-site evaluation and includes clear findings, photographs, and tailored recommendations to meet your specific needs.
TRAQ Reports (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification)
A TRAQ Inspection is an in-depth tree risk assessment conducted by a professional certified through the ISA’s Tree Risk Assessment Qualification program. These reports are essential when evaluating trees near homes, businesses, playgrounds, sidewalks, or construction zones. The report uses a standardized method to rate the likelihood of tree failure, potential impact, and overall risk, along with actionable mitigation strategies such as pruning, bracing, or removal. This service is beneficial for property managers, legal consultants, or anyone requiring documentation of tree risk for liability purposes.
Level 1 – Limited Visual Assessment
A quick ground-level inspection, often from a drive-by or walk-by perspective, to identify obvious and immediate tree hazards. No tools are used, and only visible defects are noted. This is typically used for large-scale scans or when access is restricted.
Level 2 – Basic Assessment
A more detailed 360-degree visual inspection from the ground, including observations of the tree’s structure, health, site conditions, and potential targets. Tools like binoculars, mallets, or measuring tapes may be used. This is the standard level for most tree risk assessments.
Level 3 – Advanced Assessment
Used when Level 2 findings are inconclusive or when higher certainty is needed. Involves specialized diagnostic tools or techniques like resistance drilling, sonic tomography, root crown excavation, or aerial inspection. Often conducted in conjunction with an arborist report.

Tree Appraisals (Tree Valuation):
Tree Appraisals determine the monetary value of trees using the ISA’s Guide for Plant Appraisal. These valuations consider factors such as species, size, location, condition, and functional benefits of the tree. Appraisals are often used in insurance claims, legal disputes (e.g., damage or removal cases), real estate transactions, or land development projects. A complete report includes a site assessment, photographs, valuation methodology, and a defensible written estimate of value.
Independent Arborist Reviews:
This service offers an unbiased review (second opinion) of another arborist’s report or recommendation. Whether you’re a homeowner unsure about a costly removal or a project manager reviewing vendor estimates, we provide a professional second opinion. This may include a site visit, review of existing documentation, and a concise summary outlining agreement or concerns with the original recommendation. Independent reviews help clarify discrepancies, improve decision-making, and ensure accountability.
Arbor-Note Tree Inventories:
We use Arbor-Note software to deliver organized, GPS-tagged tree inventories for properties of all sizes. Inventories include data on species, dbh, health condition, maintenance needs, and risk indicators. This service is especially valuable for HOAs, property managers, municipalities, and institutions that require systematic tree care planning or need to meet compliance requirements. Reports can be delivered in spreadsheet, interactive map, or printed formats and are ideal for grant funding or long-term landscape planning.
Tree Wellness Review
This streamlined service offers a certified arborist’s general assessment of a residential property’s tree conditions based on a visual walk-through. The review is intended to highlight notable trees or areas of concern, with the scope and focus determined by on-site observations and professional judgment. Depending on the layout and character of the property, the assessment may emphasize individual trees, key specimens, or broader zones (such as wooded sections) as appropriate.
Tree Preservation Plan :
A Tree Preservation Plan helps protect valuable trees before, during, and after construction. Prepared by a Certified Arborist, the plan outlines which trees to protect, how to protect them, and includes recommendations for fencing, root zone protection, and minimizing damage during site work. It’s often required for permits and helps prevent costly loss of mature trees. We can also review and interpret existing Tree Preservation Plans to help ensure they’re understood and properly implemented. Ideal for homeowners, builders, and contractors planning any type of construction project.
