About Kenneth Simon

Kenneth Simon is a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert (#2237), an ISA Certified Arborist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), and a seasoned professional with over 20 years in the green industry. From tree climbing and landscape installation to consulting and risk assessment, his experience covers just about every angle of trees, plants, and property care.

Over the years, Kenneth has worked with a wide range of clients from homeowners and HOAs to contractors and public agencies helping them navigate everything from basic tree concerns to complex preservation planning. His approach is practical, honest, and always rooted in best practices and real-world experience.

He started Maryland Independent Arborist to offer reliable, independent expertise without the pressure of a sales pitch. Whether you need a certified arborist letter, a second opinion, or ongoing consulting support, Kenneth brings clear guidance, detailed reporting, and a genuine interest in protecting trees and the people who care for them.
